Veil fog

Terra Moons Veil Nebula Cosmic chameleon shadow ($ 13.00 for 0.05 oz.) Appeared to have a warmer, plum base with an intense, multi-colored sheen that shifted from reddish-plum to olive-gold to pale chartreuse to cool aqua to purple. It had a smooth, metallic sheen that was shiny and reflective but not thick so it didn’t emphasize the texture of my skin.

The eyeshadow had a slightly creamy, moderately dense feel that was even more loosely pressed overall, so I would make sure to use a lighter hand the first time I worked. The product was applied evenly to bare skin and stayed for eight and a half hours before fading a little.

$ 13.00 / 0.05 ounce. – $ 260.00 per ounce

The formula is supposed to be a cross between “vibrant metallic and iridescent chameleon,” so they have a stronger color base but a multichromatic shift. The brand recommended applying over an eyeshadow primer and in a thin layer to “intensify the layer”, although personally I didn’t think the primers necessarily affected the layer as they were readily used on their own.

They were richly pigmented with a soft, smooth consistency that was slightly emollient but wasn’t too thick or too tightly packed in the pan so that the product could be easily picked up with a dry brush, as well as fingertips / dampened brushes if necessary. The eyeshadow is applied evenly to the bare skin and blended well around the edges.

The vibrant, more colored base has helped make these eyeshadows easier to combine with other eyeshadows too, so those who find multichrome off-putting will want to start with this type of multichrome. They held with me for between seven and eight hours before they creased visibly.

Midnight winter

Terra Moons Midnight Winter Cosmic Chameleon Shadow ($ 13.00 for 0.05 oz.) Has a soft black base with a multi-colored sheen that shifts from warmer purple to grungy, olive green to lighter, lime green to emerald green to a hint of navy blue at the extreme end of the spectrum.

The consistency was slightly creamy, denser but not thick or too tightly squeezed into the pan, resulting in it being picked up evenly with a brush and transferred well to bare skin. It had an opaque pigmentation that was worn well for nine hours before it visibly faded.

Tidal torch

Terra Moons Tidal Flare Cosmic Chameleon Shadow ($ 13.00 for 0.05 oz.) Appeared to have a grayish-purple base with a finer, multi-colored sheen that shifted from reddish-plum to dirty, peach-gold to pale green-gold. The shadow was of a heavily muted quality that is not common with most multi-color releases, so those who often find the effect too powerful can enjoy the muted nature of this film.

The shift was visible, but less pronounced than most of the brand’s other shades. The texture was smooth, almost creamy, and finely ground without being prone to fallout. It was a good eight and a half hours before it faded noticeably.

Purple solar eclipse

Terra Moons Crimson Eclipse Cosmic chameleon shadow ($ 13.00 for 0.05 oz.) Appeared to have a rose-red base with a multichromatic sheen and sparkle that shifted from lighter pink to orange-red to warm yellow. The most dramatic and noticeable part of the shift was more orange to yellowish-gold with hints of pink / red around the edges.

The texture was soft, mixable, and more loosely pressed, so there was a slight precipitation when first applied, but later I had no problem wearing it. It had an opaque paint coverage that stayed good for eight and a half hours before visibly fading.
