Terra Moons Photo voltaic Cosmic Chameleons Opinions & Swatches (Half 2 of two)

Artemis

Terra Moons Artemis Cosmic Chameleon Shadow ($ 13.00 for 0.05 oz.) Is a lighter, bluish-teal base with shimmer that transitions from cooler aqua to green to warmer green, paired with a sparkling metallic finish. It was richly pigmented with a lighter, more intense finish that was particularly glossy.

The consistency was moderately pliable, dense but not thick, and was picked up well with a dry brush for good, even adhesion to bare skin. It stayed good for eight and a half hours before it visibly faded.

The formula is supposed to be a cross between “vibrant metallic and iridescent chameleon,” so they have a stronger color base but a multichrome shift. The brand recommended applying them over an eyeshadow primer and in a thin layer to “intensify the shift,” although I personally didn’t find the primer necessarily affecting the shift as they were obviously used on their own.

They were richly pigmented with a soft, smooth consistency that was slightly emollient but not too thick or too tightly packed in the pan so it was easy to pick up the product with a dry brush as well as fingertips / dampened brushes if desired. The eye shadow was applied evenly to the bare skin and faded out well at the edges.

The lively, more colorful base has made it easier to combine these with other eyeshadows as well. Those who find multichrome daunting can start with this type of multichrome. They lasted between seven and eight hours before they creased visibly.

Ceres

Terra Moons Ceres Cosmic Chameleon Shadow ($ 13.00 for 0.05 oz.) Is a very light blue base with a shift from gold to warmer gold. According to the brand, there should also be a shift to lavender and a touch of green, but I found that lavender was very, very subtle and harder to tell, even in person, and the green even more so.

The texture was smooth, slightly pliable without being overly thick, which helped it be applied evenly to bare skin and still pay off in one layer. There were signs of fading after eight hours of wear.

Supernova

Terra Moons Supernova Cosmic Chameleon Shadow ($ 13.00 for 0.05 oz.) Is a medium blue base with a sheen that alternates between yellow gold and peach gold, paired with a metallic finish. The eyeshadow had a rich color payout in a single pass that adhered well to bare skin with a smooth, even product deposit.

It had a soft, smooth, and mixable texture that wasn’t too thick or pressed too tightly, but neither powdery nor prone to failure. This hue lasted a good eight and a half hours before visibly fading.
