So what’s better than a free donut? Two free donuts.
With the increase in Covid-19 cases, Krispy Kreme is increasing the effort to get vaccinated. From August 30th to September 5th, the company is offering two donuts for free instead of just one to anyone with a vaccination.
In March, Krispy Kreme was one of the first to introduce a nationwide Covid vaccine incentive, offering a free glazed donut to every adult with a vaccination card.
Since then, the company has given away more than 2.5 million donuts. (The offer is valid for the rest of the year.)

“We all hoped we were nearing the end of this pandemic by now,” said Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme’s chief marketing officer, in a statement. “Were not.
“So please consider getting vaccinated if you haven’t already,” he added. “And then enjoy and share two great donuts with our heartfelt thanks.”
From free food to cash prizes, incentives have become increasingly important in getting more people to vaccinate.
Last month, President Joe Biden urged state and local officials to offer residents $ 100 in payments to get a Covid vaccine. New York City has already announced that it will pay $ 100 to anyone who goes to a city-operated vaccination site for their first dose.
The latest surge comes as coronavirus cases rise again in the US, with the highly contagious Delta variant boosting infection rates.
A recent survey by UCLA found that about 33% of unvaccinated people said paying $ 100 in cash would increase the likelihood of getting an injection.
